What we do
Women’s health issues are global public health issues that affects half of the world’s population. Women and girls in low- and middle-income countries suffer disproportionately with lack of access to equitable health care services, education and resources to manage their health and wellbeing with dignity. The economic and social impacts of women’s health inequity are huge, with many of those affected restricted from equal education, job opportunities, good quality of life and mental, physical and emotional well-being.
To promote women’s health, One Woman Health addresses the different phases of women’s health – menstrual, mental, maternal and menopause – throughout the lifecycle.
We not only support women through the creation of affordable, washable and reusable menstrual pads, but also through the delivery of educational programmes, youth capacity building, community and stakeholder engagement, digital resources and lots more.
